Draper Temple House

Grandma, Kent, Zac, Holly, Summer and I were able to go to Draper Temple Open House on March 11th. We were all in awe at how beautiful it was. This was the first open house that Zac, Holly and Summer have been too and they really enjoyed being able to see parts of the temple they have never seen before. We spent a few minutes in the sealing room which was a favorite. We looked in the mirrors and saw our family go on and on and on. Corinne came down from BYU-I on Saturday the 14th and she and Kami were able to tour the temple then.

School House Rock

Zac was one of the leads in the Dixon Middle School musical "School House Rock". He did a great job and we had so much fun watching him. It is hard to believe that was my son up on stage singing and dancing in front of all of those people. Whose son is he anyway?

Happy 86th birthday Grandpa Winn!

February 16th was my dad's 86th birthday. It was the first birthday since he passed away. My mom, Corinne, Holly, Summer and I took flowers and balloons to the cemetary. The headstone has still not been placed but we knew where he was. It is still hard to believe he is gone. I often find myself thinking of something I need to tell him and remember that he is not here. I may not be able to see him, but his influence will always be with me.

Westridge Science Fair 2009

Holly and Summer both participated in the Westridge Science Fair again this year.

Holly was able to compete for a chance to move onto the District Science Fair. We were very excited to find out she won! She did an experiment to find out if smiling is contagious.

Summer did very well on her project as well. She did a taste test between Sprite and 7-Up.

Summer Jr. Jazz

Summer played Jr. Jazz basketball for the first time this year. She had a lot of fun and her basketball skills really improved. She was able to go to a Jazz game at The Energy Solutions Arena also. Way to go Summer!!!

Kami was in charge of the treats for New Beginnings. Didn't she do a great job!!!
